Thankyou Darlington Park - our group of campers have just had the best 10 days camping holiday.
The Kids loved all the activities and were never at a loss for things to do - new friends to make, swimming, jumping and riding the bikes. The facilities were great and we loved the Takeaway and Spinifex on those nights when lighting the gas bbq was just too much of a chore. Will remember to bring our costumes for the bowls next year, and hopefully the guys (the Benders team) can go one better. Thanks again, we will definitely be back.

We have just come back from a well earned week end away. We have never stayed at Darlington before and we were pleasantly surprised. Our accomodation was a Gumnut Villa.No.9.
Absolutely beautiful with a great location and lots of privacy and only a very short stroll to everything.
The first day there and the weather was wonderful. We unpacked and hit the beach then the pool then the jumping pillows( huge hit for 10 year old twin boys). We had take away for dinner which we purchased from the shop. Very nice and fairly well priced. Second day bad weather hit. Okay what do we do. We hit the pool , the spa, jumping pillows and even tried our hand at lawn bowls. Great day had by all.
Third day time to come home. We left with a smile on our face knowing we are going to return..

Wow ! We have a 13 & 14 year old that got right into this holiday. We stayed the week running into xmas and had a ball. We played golf, lawn bowls, tennis, swam in the surf and walked the pristine beach. Our accomodation was huge, really comfortable and private, with all the palms around our verandar. We enjoyed dining in the restaurant on xmas eve and had plenty of other places close by, to dine at, as well! Our 'big' kids want to come back and we will, hopefully soon!

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for a wonderful holiday (again) at Darlington Beach over the recent school holidays. We all had a great time and the kids came home with a big buzz thanks to the organised activities that you provide. A number of things that may seem like very small things to you and your staff are quite big things for those parents with young children. For example, during our last visit, our 5 year old (who had never purchased anything on his own previously and does not know the value of money) was riding his bike from our site on his own and purchasing the newspaper every morning, each time bringing back the correct change. You cant do that in the suburbs anymore. There is a strong feeling of safety and the fact that all staff are friendly and trustworthy is a huge issue for us. The ability of the 'activity staff' to manage the needs of young children and teenagers at the same time is quite impressive. They make sure all kids are included and get a turn at each event. The range of events was such that the kids had highlighted an organised activity for virtually every day throughout the 2 weeks - we only left the park on 2 days for other activities ! Further, my 7 year old followed us in a game of golf and had a couple of hits. He played again 3 more times during our stay and is keen to take it up as a sport.
This is the only time of the year that my wife and I can really relax and not worry about what the kids are doing - and like wise the kids are exhausted at the end of each day so that helps too!!! (It's well worth the 2 day drive).
We actually brought 2 families up this year, one family from Victoria for 1 week and a family from the south of Sydney who we met the year earlier and organised to return in the second week (coinciding with NSW school holidays). The Victorian family upon their return commented that they could see why we hope to return each year. Both families have/will also submit an interest to return in 2009.
We submitted our intention to revisit at the same time (Vic school holidays) & the same site for next year so hopefully we will see you then.

Well I would have to say that Darlington Beach is my favourite holiday park. The team at "Darlo" are absolutely fantastic. All the staff, right from the front office staff all the way through to the grounds people and housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful. And as for Dean & Graeme - we could not have possibly been looked after any better. The park presents great, I loved all the big established trees, you really do feel like you are a world away when you are there, and with the beachfront location as well, just tops it off in my books. "Darlo" is very unique and has so much to offer. The eco, wildlife aspect combined with fantastic facilities on offer - it really is amazing. There are not many places you can go on holidays to and be in the bush, yet on the beach and be surrounded by kangaroos, and ducks and peacocks and wild birds that will come and eat out of your hand. I just loved it!!! I recommend this place to everyone!
